Stardew Valley Winter Season
In Stardew Valley, the winter season is generally spent without farming. Apart from winter seeds, no other crops will grow during this season. If hay was not stocked in previous seasons and a heater was not placed in the animal barn, animals will not produce milk, eggs, or other livestock products. Usually, players use winter to relax and recover from the exhaustion of spring, summer, and fall, and to try out different aspects of the game.

Players can collect ores in the mines to upgrade tools like watering cans and sprinklers for future use. Those interested in fishing can catch plenty of fish. Interacting with townsfolk and participating in winter festivals are key activities to make the most of the season. If players want to continue farming in winter, they can grow crops year-round in a repaired greenhouse.
